“People treat people with disabilities like they were babies,” she said. In the show, everyone treats Isabella with dignity and respect, like an equal. Not only do other students treat her differently, some teachers do as well. I have three girls who enjoy watching Disney Channel, so when we watched the latest episode of “Raven’s Home,” titled “Head Over Wheels,” it especially caught our attention.
For anyone who thinks this is not a big deal, both my girls were quite disappointed that the girl playing Isabella was not actually disabled. Also, in "The Falcon and the Raven – Part One", he reveals to his mother and Chelsea that he has visions. Anneliese van der Pol as Chelsea Grayson (seasons 1–4; special guest star season 5), Raven's somewhat dim-witted and sweet best friend and the mother of Levi. Our family has heard a fair share of absurd comments regarding accessibility, so the “argument” from Mitch did seem realistic and a reason why someone would not make a building accessible. Raven Baxter and her best friend Chelsea, both divorced single mothers, raise their children together in a Chicago apartment. Her “ease” using a wheelchair was not the ease of a child who is actually disabled and has been using a chair for years. In this episode, Levi, one of the main characters in the show, has a crush on Isabella and invites her over to his apartment. Isabella never shows up and the next day Levi finds out it is because she was unable to access the building. Raven's Home and Cory in the House (2 That's So Raven spinoffs) have produced a total of 34 episodes across two seasons each, putting the two spinoffs in a tie. Though, Raven's Home will now produce more episodes than Cory in the House because of the third season pickup.Cory in the House's first season got 21 episodes while Raven's Home's first season got 13 episodes.
Following a silent renewal, on November 28, 2018, it was announced that Eunetta T. Boone would be taking over as showrunner and executive producer for the third season. On March 21, 2019, it was announced that production on the third season was temporarily shut down, following the death of Eunetta T. Boone. On May 10, 2019, it was announced that the third season would premiere on June 17, 2019. When Booker loses his powers to see glimpses of the future, he gains new abilities as an incredible chef and magician. Jonathan McDaniel as Devon Carter (season 1–4), Raven's ex-husband and the father of Booker and Nia who works as a meteorologist. He was Raven's boyfriend in high school and is now aware of Raven's abilities.

The fourth season premiered on July 24, 2020, and concluded on May 21, 2021. Anne-Marie Johnson as Donna Cabonna, a fashion designer who was Raven's old boss back in the original series. Rondell Sheridan as Victor (season 5; guest season 2), the father of Raven and the maternal grandfather of Booker and Nia. He works as a chef and flies out to Chicago to help Raven while Chelsea is away on a Caribbean cruise. In the fifth season, he has a mild heart attack and Raven returns to San Francisco with Booker to take care of him.
She decides not to tell her children about her visions as she believes they would not understand. However, in "The Falcon and the Raven – Part Two", she reveals to the children that she is psychic. In the second season, Raven is working as a driver for the transportation business Scüt. Raven Baxter and the entire family learn that her pre-teen son Booker has inherited her ability to catch glimpses of the future.

Additionally, newcomers Mykal-Michelle Harris, Felix Avitia, and Emmy Liu-Wang joined as Alice, Neil and Ivy, respectively, and Rondell Sheridan would return as Raven's father Victor Baxter. Adrienne Bailon also returned as Alana Rivera, Raven's high school bully in the original series. On February 10, 2022, it was announced that the fifth season would premiere on March 11, 2022. He is very mature for his age and often acts as the parent in his relationship with his mother. Levi is Booker's best friend and is aware of his psychic abilities. So Disney, if you have any shows with a disabled character — and I hope as a mom of two kids with disabilities that you have many more — please consider accurate representation and casting kids with disabilities.
Cory in the House's second season got 13 episodes while this season got 21 episodes. The kids win tickets to attend a special season premiere screening of their favorite TV show. Meanwhile, Raven manages home appointment with her hairstylist who brings along her own surprise, her sister's precocious child, Power. Brian George as Dr. Sleevemore, a clairvoyant and telekinetic scientist who helped out Raven with two of her psychic problems during her high school days.
Dylan Martin Frankel as Mitch , the son of 352 Hauser Avenue's new owner Richard Moseley who runs the apartment while his father is busy. In the episode, we find out the building does have a hidden elevator, but the building manager refuses to make the elevator accessible to everyone. She said people don’t really see her the same, and the show did not show an accurate portrayal of what it is like to be disabled in school.
